This folder contains a repaint for the FG-1D Corsair by Milviz, in the colors of Chance-Vought F4U-5N Corsair was built in 1951. After serving wuith the US Navy, it went to Honduras in the mid 50's. In 1978, the Honduran Air Force sold nearly all their Corsairs to Hollywood wings in the USA, some even flying. Other were sent by rail, and assembled in the USA, which might have mixed up parts. It is believed the VH-III was originally BuNo 123168/FAH603. The Walt Disney company bought it in 1987 and gave it to the RNZAF in thanks for helping out with a movie. The RNZAF traded it with Graham Hoskins for a Cutriss P-40F. The aircraft was then restored in Darwin and made its first post restoration flight in 2014, painted in Honduran colors. It is based at Tyabb airfield in Victoria, Australia.
