CFS2 Gotha G.V Grossflugzeug, 1917
German WW1 strategic bomber Built by the Gothaer Waggonfabrik A.G., with improvements over previous Gotha G.IV, with improved avionics, more aerodynamic engine nacelles and inboard fuel tanks for safety reasons, which blocked off the open walkway to the rear gunner-well behind the pilot´s cockpit.
It was powered by 2 high-compression, throttle gated, 6-cyl Mercedes D.IVa engines, altitude rated at 267 Hp at 1300 metres.
Maximum speed was 140 kph,and it could carry a bomb load of 500 kg.
Upgrade for CFS2, with several texture-mapping correction and 4 new historical liveries created by Martin Klein.
G.V 915/16 "Cassiopeia" in dark irregular night-lozenge pattern, with the constellation on the fuselage side.
G.V 901/16 in irregular daytime lozenge pattern, at a time before the addition of "fuselage art."
G.V 670/16 in white, with a green snake, a symbol frequently used on Gotha "G" aircraft, painted on the fuselage sides.
G.V 670/16 in dark night-bomber irregular lozenge, with a golden snake painted on the fuselage sides.
Custom photo-realistic panel by Kevin Driver, with authentic custom gauges by Martin Klein. Dp Files with help from Michael Lang (Ravenna).
Model by Stephan Scholz.
