Harbour & Seaplane base Objects for CFS2 by UncleTgt
This is a collection of eye candy objects for smaller harbours, ports & seaplane bases. It follows on from my earlier Piers & Slipways object collection..
Being simple objects they are single LOD, but most do have a custom destroyed model.
I created them using G-Max & Allen's Making Exploding Objects using FS2002 Tools & Tutorial.
This pack includes:
Apron50x20_UT - 50mtr x 20mtr, but only 0.5mtr high - The lower height allows a wider selection of objects to be placed over it.
Apron50x50_UT - 50mtr x 50mtr, but only 0.5mtr high
Apron100x20_UT - 100mtr x 20mtr, but only 0.5mtr high
Ramp30x15_UT - 30mtr x 15mtr, gently sloping from 0.5mtr highto 0mtr
Ramp40x20_UT - 40mtr x 20mtr, gently sloping from 0.5mtr high to 0mtr
slipway_timber_stone_UT - a shallow slipway object as a low tech option to Xaviers concrete slipways
flaktub_quayside_UT - a steel gunpit at 3.02mtr height, allowing it to be placed on top of any pier/quayside object. See separate raised gun objects for arming options.
inf_rockybrkwtrA_UT - a more rustic breakwater rock section for those smaller harbours
inf_rockybrkwtrB_UT - a more rustic breakwater rock section for those smaller harbours
inf_rockyoutcrop3_UT - a larger rocky shore section for those smaller harbours, best used as the land-side base for a rocky breakwater
sml_Harbor_light_UT - a small steel & timber framework tower with a light dome on top. Based on the small oil rig object, but not as tall.
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.
Thanks to
XavierB, Maskrider & Wolfi for leading the way with their infrastructure objects
Allen for his Making Exploding Objects using FS2002 Tools & Tutorial
Arno Gerretsen for ModelconverterX & FXeditor, such clever & versatile tools
This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions
