The Heinkels! campaign is a 51-mission tour-de-force chronicling some of the missions that the KG 26 bomber squadron of the Luftwaffe participated in during the first full two years of the war. This campaign covers three distinct and different phases of the war. The first phase covers the successes in the Norway invasion of 1940, followed by the unit’s participation in attacking British shipping, naval installations, and its participation in the northern reaches of the Battle of Britain. The second phase chronicles the unit’s transfer and actions in the Mediterranean, including its participation in the Balkans, Italy, Malta, and the North African desert. After transferring back to Norway, your campaign ends in Northern Norway with your efforts in attacking the massive Allied convoys streaming into Russia. These missions are based on the advanced version of the original campaign found at Groundcrew.
