Hi-Rez Runway Textures for CFS 2 by UncleTgt
These are texture reworkings based partly upon the work by Shphawk back in 2016. Mostly a retinting exercise, but the Steel Mat runway texture has been more extensively revised.
The bitmaps are in 444-4 format, as I find this format is the best compromise for "shimmering" (due to graphic card performance) & sharpness of texturing.
The alpha channel blending isn't perfect, but the runway object format has some limitations ;-o
Updated 07-MAY_23 to also include the "tile" bitmaps that the sim seems to use to display runways further away from you.
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location & move/ copy files to the matching folder names inside your chosen CFS 2 install.
