HMS Audacity
The Royal Navy's first escort carrier - converted from the German vessel Hannover captured in 1940.
No hangar, no lift just six Martlet IIs parked on the deck. Used on Gibraltar convoys her aircraft achieved several successes against FW Condors.
She was eventually sunk by a U-boat in December 1941 off Portugal.
This model was made at the suggestion of Uncle Tgt of SOH as his price for doing the paintwork for this and also the HMS Gadila model.
The model and all its innaccuracies are mine because I was really doing HMS Gadila, a MAC ship.
