IS4G Savoia Marchetti JRS 79 B
IS4G The S79B was a twin-engined derivative of the Sparviero, specially developed for the Romanian Air Force (FARR) service. The bombing sight was moved from the ventral "gondola" to a new transparent nose. The JRS79B was a later variant built by Romanian industry with more changes; the radial engines were substituted with new, more powerful, Jumo 211 in-line ones; the tail section was redesigned in a new shape; more minor changes to the rest of the plane. Around 100 were built, serving on the eastern front 1941-45. Includes FSDS and SCASM versions.
