This is a repaint of the IS4G BF-109E4 of 6/JG 53 flown by Oberleutnant Heinz Bretnutz in September 1939 during the 'Phoney War'. I feel that this IS4G 109E is a good Emil model even though it is rather old. At the time of release it was very well received and it has the rather quirky ability to display its framework and innards with keypress ShiftH. I have used the German Special markings by RAF Loke from the Simmers Paintshop site, a fantastic reference site for repainters. The profile of the plane was discovered at Wings Palette.
