Usio's IJN Ise. Laid down as a modified "Fuso" class Dreadnought. Launched Nov 1916, completed Dec 1917. Rebuilt 1928-29 and again 1931-32, with a major rebuild 1935-37. Rebuilt in 1943 to accomodate aircraft on her rear deck. Slightly damaged in October 1944 in the Battle off Cape Engaño, returned to Japan and tied up. Sunk at her moorings, 27 July 1945 by air attacks. Scrapped Oct 1946 - July 1947.
