Overview History Discussion
Usio's PT 117. an 80' Elco MTB, laid down and commissioned 1942. Served in the SW Pacific, based at Guadalcanal, moving north to Rendova. While preparing for a overnight patrol at dusk on August 1st, 1943, the PT Boat base at Lumbaria Island came under air attack and PT117 was severely damaged and beached. PT117 was written off for salvage and likely scrapped post war.
