This is the multi-lod Junkers Ju-52 conversion. The original aircraft is credited to Pierino Primavesi. This will provide CFS2 users with an “all purpose” Ju-52 that can be used as a bomber, cargo dropper, troop transport, and the ability to drop paratroopers. The model has “semi” breaking parts, some parts do fall away, but some will not.
This is the best that can be done under the circumstances.
There are numerous people to thank...
The outstanding work of Pierino Primavesi, who provided us such a wonderful working model to work with.
A big credit goes out to Simonu, who worked on the model conversion and the control surfaces, as well as the virtual cockpit.
In addition, Simonu worked on creating new objects to correct various issues, including the center propeller spinner, gun positions, and new sets of troops that can be placed “as a block” rather than ad individuals which take up hardpoints on the .dp file.
Many thanks to Achim27619, who finished the majority of work on the panel to get it suitable for release.
Thanks also go to Kelticheart, who provided the prop textures and worked on the .dp file to add bombs.
Thanks go to Japlance, who did work on the .airfile and also did the majority of the .dp work along with Kelticheart.
Thanks go out to oldwheat as well, who contributed the sideways-firing gun tubes needed for such a project.
Seagull V also deserves an enormous amount of credit for providing you with several paint schemes for this aircraft to get you well on your way!
Cess Donker also contributed his work on the 2d panel, and while not perfect, is the last hurdle to be conquered.
I also with to thank sc7500, who participated in .dp tweaking in the final stages.
My role in this was one of a facilitator, I also did some .dp work combining the two .dp files from Japlance and Kelticheart.
