Kawanishi J6K1 Jinpu for CFS2 by: W. Dickens, Peperez, Kelticheart et al. In 1942, Kawanishi designed the J3K interceptor around the Mitsubishi Ha9 engine. A increase in plane's weight obliged a major redesign using a special turbo version of the Nakajima Homare engine. The proposed J6K1 was armed with two 30mm cannons and two 13.2mm machine guns. The war's conclusion ended any further development of these aircraft which never saw combat.
