Ki-67 Peggy revamp by UncleTgt
This is a reworking of Kimihiro's Ki-67 Peggy for CFS 2. Due to limitation with the model (several key parts are not textured at all), I've decided to upload as a complete aircraft for ease of installation, as during repainting I went on to not only alter model base colours & shine, but also amend the airfile & dp file.
I've deshined & retinted the mdls to give brown & green mdls so the untextured parts of the a/c model match the paint schemes I've done.
The repaints represent:
7 Sentai, Formosa '44
60 Sentai, Okinawa '45
74 Sentai, Japan '45
The repaints include a Kelti style prop bmp. I've adapted Bearcat 241's dp file for the Ki-49 Helen & adjusted the guns & loadouts to suit. The airfile is a cut & paste job using Aired, & uses elements from a variety of sources, but it seems to give a reasonable approximation of performance. I used Lawdog's B26 soundfile in the absence of a twin engine configuration for the 1900HP engines of the Peggy.
To install, unzip the download to a temporary location then place in your CFS 2/ AIRCRAFT folder.
Thanks to Kimihiro for making the original aircraft. It's a old model by today's standards, but it's a start point.
Mike Zola for rescuing the file & making available for future users.
Bearcat241 & Kelticheart for developing realistic dp & airfiles as start points.
Lawdog 2360 for his B26 sound file pack.
This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions
