This mission is a follow up to my Lae / Salamaua strike mission of March 10 1942. This time the player is put into the role of a TBD Devastator pilot from VT-2 (USS Lexington) leading a division of three TBD's as the tail end charlie of the Lexington strike wave. The challenge aside from that of flying low and slow over armed, anchored invasion shipping and within reach of shore based AA, is flying the old TBD over the mountains of New Guinea.
Primary target is invasion shipping but if want a challenge such as a CA or CL, then just fly a bit off shore, will find them fleeing the anchorage.
