Welcome to the LDR C-119G Boxcar for FSX and P3D (up to v5.3)
This virtual aircraft is based on the Fairchild C-119G and this is the dedicated fire tanker version which is also compatible with the 'FireFighter X' (FFX) payware add-on. A number of options are available via a pop-up clipboard screen (Shift+7), the JATO unit, which actually works and produces additional thrust is a permanent feature on the tanker version as it was in real life. You can also select if 'FFX' is to be used with the tanker. The
clipboard also has a 'memory' and will remember your last used configuration.
NOTE: You MUST read the installation instructions fully as this is a very complex aircraft and it will nor work correctly if you do not follow all the steps in the installation procedure!
NOTE: The regular Boxcar and the tanker version are two separate downloads so that users that only want the regular version don't need to use up their HDD/SSD space with the tanker and vice versa.
