NZ2013 was a Hudson Mk III with construction number3826. Originally V9241 from British Purchasing Mission contracts. Shipped to New Zealand on Limerick, BOC Unit 1 Hobsonville on 18 September 1941 and assembled at No.1 Aircraft Depot Hobsonville. Test flown at Hobsonville 28 October 1941. To No.1 GR Squadron Whenuapai. To No.4 Squadron Nausori, Fiji 09 December 1941. Badly damaged in landing accident 28 January 1942 and out of air until August of that year. To No.9 Squadron Plaine de Gaiacs, New Caledonia 25 August 1942. Returned to New Zealand June 1944. To School of Navigation and Reconnaissance, New Plymouth July 1944. With CFS Woodbourne 1945. To Air Navigation School, Wigram November 1945. To storage Nelson August 1948. Sold by WARB tender WARB/9201 from Taieri to Mr. Clark 09 May 1949. Derelict on farm near Maheno. Recovered from farm during 1984 for RNZAF Museum. Shifted to Wigram during 1985, where restoration began in 1987. Restored using parts from various other aircraft and placed on display at RNZAF Museum painted as NZ2013 on 17 July 1996. Repaint for the Alphasim Hudson by Jan Kees Blom
