Grumman Martlet MKII AM963 Q, B-Flt, No.802 NAS, detached HMS Victorious, North Norway, September 1941. Believed to be the aircraft flown by Sub Lt Jimmy Sleigh, who scored the Martlet's first carrierborne kill at 1400Hrs on 13th September 1941, shooting down an He111 off Norway. The flight subsequently rejoined HMS Audacity, a captured German merchant ship converted into an escort carrier, for an eventful cruise to Gibraltar and back. HMS Audacity was sunk while sailing back to Britain. Second delivery colours of AN equivalents of Extra Dark Sea Green and Light Sea Green.

This will of course not change the flight dynamics or damage profile of the aircraft into that of a Martlet MkII.
