Large assault glider, originally designed for the invasion of Britain but never used for its intended purpose. The main problem being the lack of suitable towing aircraft. Even with ratog assistance the Ju 90 or the triple Me110 arrangements were woefully under-powered. Only with the advent of the He111Z (twin He111) were tows really feasible - but there were never enough He111Zs. Never used in assaults they were mainly used for transport on the OstFront.
