Merlin2 Bristol Beaufort Mk2A revised by UncleTgt
This is a revision of the Bristol Beaufort model series made by Merlin2 for CFS 2. This pack depicts the mk1-b. I used MDLmat & DosMDLCv2 to give the model some shine, better coloured aircrew lifevests, plus improve the glass transparency & colour, prop disks etc.
The 2D panel bitmap has been made WIN7+ safe, & the definition of the VC instruments has been improved.
The .dp file has been given historically accurate payload options, & the damage effects & hitpoints tweaked to give a better combat experience. As the airfile was developed by Jerry Beckwith, the only thing I adjusted was to lower the elevator authority somewhat, to try to make it less fighter-like when engaged. I changed the aircraft family from 4 to 5 (more a G4M2 Betty than a TBF Avenger), but this has not been tested extensively in missions.
The textures offered are: ML444 No.1 OADU, MAR44 Took off Portreath, 0730, on delivery flight to Rabat-Sale, Morocco. The aircraft failed to arrive at its destination.
ML675 - F, 132 OTU, DEC43.
ML621 -P1C of 762FAA, RNAS Dale, Pembrokeshire Wales circa JAN45.
To use the provided .dp file that depicts more historically authentic weapons and payloads, the following weapons packs are required...
Baldy Mk VII depth charge: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tid=17&id=6687
Shessi 250lb depth charge: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...id=17&id=22592
Hudson weapons package: https://www.virtualwings.org/downloa...apons_v099.zip
Beaufighter weapons: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tid=50&id=6860 (You don't need the aircraft, just the weapons)

Groundcrew British weapons: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...tid=17&id=4398

Thanks to: Merlin2 for the original multi-LOD Beaufort.
