his is a repaint of the Milviz F-4E J Phantom II in the colors of the VF-143 number 311. On 20 June 1962, the unit was redesignated VF-143 and began its transition to the F-4 Phantom. They deployed seven times during the Vietnam War. The squadron was credited with the downing of the first MiG-21 in 1967, lead by R.M. Hooper LtCmdr; call sign: "Pacer". This is number 311.
