This folder contains a repaint for the Milviz F-86, in the colors of the aircraft of the Minute Men, the Colorado Air National Guard demonstration team. The team existed unofficially from 1953 to 1956, flying Lockheed F-80Cs. Members of the Colorado Air National Guard's Minute Men put on aerial shows in their F-86s beginning in 1954, and from 1956 until 1959, they served as the National Guard Bureaus official aerial demonstration team representing all ANG units. The "Minute Men" performed in 47 U.S. states, as well as the territories of Hawaii and Alaska, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatamala City, Mexico City, and Kingston (Jamaica). In 1959 it was disbanded out of budgetary reasons. I have included four different aircraft in this folder that flew with the Minute Men, all F-86F-2 cannon armed aircraft that were used for gunval evaluations in Korea. The cannons were removed for the team. The included aircraft are #51-2826, #51-2867 (with a slightly different paint job), #51-2868 and #51-2900.
