This is a repaint of the Milviz P-38L. This P-38L Serial Number 44-27083 built in 1945 for recon work. Original aircraft flown by Lt. Ervin C. Lethell. The name of the original Tangerine pilot probably a P-38F in N. Africa is found on this restored aircraft. Sold eventually to Jack Erickson of the Tillamook Air Museum. Flies at numerous air shows around the United States. Repaint by Tom Stovall, based on the paintkit by Milviz.
