This is a fresh upload with corrected files. These missions are entirely fictitious, but are typical for the tactics that were employed by Coastal Forces. Research revealed that for MAW Phase 1 there were little Coastal Forces at all in that period. The last MTB?s had left Malta for England after the Battle of France. At the beginning of 1942 the strength of Coastal forces in the Med was a few small, old Thorneycroft MTB's that survived the fall of Crete, fourteen HDML?s (Harbour Defence Motor Launches) and some ML?s based in Gibraltar. Build up started slowly using American Elcos shipped up the Suez Canal, and Alexandria became the Coastal Forces HQ in the Med at this time. So I have cheated and pushed the dates forwards to ?43. This is historically accurate for these ops, but not for this version of MAW. Originally designed for the original CFS3:ETO, there is a lot you don?t need for the missions in MAW(however install it all in ETO and you?ll have a lot of fun). For MAW you only need the MTB, the S-boot and their weapons files. There are issues with the MRB/S-Boot project, but they are great fun to sail and exciting to fight with. I never get bored of the sight of a flotilla of these ?little ships? going past at high speed. Beau Brummie.
