Here are two fictional repaints for the outstanding Warbirdsim FJ-1D 'Seahorse' representing an aircraft that might have been used by the Royal Canadian Navy. In this scenario, the aircraft would have been one of a small batch built at the North American Dallas, TX plant following the completion of deliveries of F-51D's to the Royal Canadian Air force. The RCN2 paint depicts the aircraft at delivery in late 1949 to No. 803 Sqdn. aboard HMCS Magnificent. The RCN paint depicts the aircraft at the end of its service life flying from the naval airstation, HMCS Shearwater, in Nova Scotia.
