This is a repaint for the Warbirdsim P-51D 'Little Friends' pack depicting P-51K-5-NT 44-11746 'Scat VI' of the 434th FS, 479th FG, and flown by Maj. Robin Olds. Reputedly Maj. Olds favorite Mustang, on 16th April 1945 'Scat VI' was hit by flak which blew off one of the flaps and punched holes in the wing. Unable to land safely with the undercarriage down Olds elected to belly in at Wattisham at 200 mph. Inevitably 'Scat VI' was written off.
