Ki.43 IIb possibly from the 24th Dokuritsu Chutai (Independent Fighter Squadron)
Found unserviceable on Clark Field, Philippines 1944
Many of the Japanese aircraft wrecks found in the Philippines after the fighting bore no unit markings. The action was too intense for Japanese crews to have time to paint insignia on planes. The fought them and lost them as fast as they could be ferried from Formosa.
Repaint for the The B24 Guy overhauled Ki-43 Oscar model.
This skin is based on a Sentai 78 IL-2 skin with much additional painting. Most of the credit should go to the original author.
