P-40 Tomahawk IIB AM392 LD-W "Nux Vomica" 2024-07-12

Tomahawk MkIIB AM392 of 250 Squadron, flown by Australian pilot Sgt Bob Whittle, Egypt August-October 1941. "Nux Vomica" (deadly poison) was the name given to this aircraft by Sgt Whittle, who used it to shoot down a Me109. The aircraft was later used by the SAAF until it was struck off charge on 1 July 1943. Repaint for the A2A P40 Tomahawk by Jan Kees Blom, using the paint kit by Martin Catney.
