This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-23-RA 42-8066 "Sweetwater Swatter" an aircraft of the 340th FS/ 348th FG, based in Papua New Guinea. The aircraft, probably the oldest surviving P-47D, is currently undergoing restoration in Australia.
