The infamous Martin JRM Mars, the world's largest flying boat to be in military service returns to the simulation community with this variation of the original AI Released Mars from Alphasim for FS9 in 2005, then modified flyable by A.F. Scrub for FS9/FSX, now overhaled to take advantage of P3Dv4+'s texture rendering in 2021/2022.
Extensive overhauls of the external model to allow for the application of PBR and a significant overhaul of the VC and interior model were also achieved. The package includes 4 liveries for the Mars. 3 of which are representative of the Mars decades long service as an aerial firefighting aircraft. Liveries represented are Hawaii Mars in USFS and Canadian service markings. As well as Philippine Mars in Canadian and her original United States Navy livery she resides in currently. The Mars in firefighting service was able to carry 7,200 US Gallons or over 27,000L of water aboard. Which it could refill it's tanks in under an astonishing 30 seconds with specially modified retractable scoops in it's belly.
This model is only compatible with P3Dv4 or above.
