P51D_Dizzy
P-51D, 44-13687, LC-B "Dizzy Rebel" of Lt. Robert H King, 77th Fighter Squadron, 20th Fighter Group. This particular a/c was a long serving member of the 77th FS having previously been Capt. Harold H Gjolme's "Duration Plus 6", then Capt. James H Herbert's "Paper Doll" before being reassigned to Lt. King. It was finaly lost when Lt. David N Baldock was killed in a crash-landing at Vresse, Belgium on 23 August 1945. Repaint of Andrew Wai's excellent P-51D, this is just the repainted skin. Have fun. Gil Shaw. (cobrauk)
