Phenick Field Redux for P3D.(ICAO: CCA1)
The airfield is located nearby Newark, Ohio
Nowadays it doesn‘t exist anymore but it provides a nice
environment for flights in the area, lovely surrounded by fields and forests.
This project is inspired by Golden Age Simulations
The scenery was developed by 29 Palms some 12+ years ago for FSX.
I asked Lars of 29 Palms if they would consider updating it for P3D
and was told they do not have the source files anymore.
I wish to thank Spad54 for permission to publish Phenick Field.
I converted all the old DDS files to BGL files and now the scenery works with
P3D 4 and 5. I had a friend test it in FSX and P3D4.5 and works fine in those
sims and well as P3DV 5.4
Those who want to download and install it can have fun with it in the Summer months.
Maybe someone will feel like seeing if they can get the Manager to work and share it.
There is a Phenick manual (PDF) that has interesting info and features that will not work
with P3D.
