This ia repaint for the PMDG DC-6B in the colours of Briish Commonwealth Pacific Airlines (BCPA). BCPA was an Australian Goverment joint venture airline with New Zealand and the United Kingdom to operate services across the Pacific between Australia New Zealand the USA and Canada. The airline operated basically one route Australia NZ Fiji Canton Island Hawaii San Francisco Vancouver and back again several times a week until 1954 when it was sold or amalgamated into Qantas and Qantas then commenced operating the Pacific routes but with Constellations. The DC-6s went to TEAL in NZ who continued to use them for a number of years.
The original aicraft were short nose non spinner models but the difference is minor except for the purist. The PMDG DC-6 is a very fine simulation model and the issue is minor. The livery has modified the PMDG to allow for the additional skylight sleeper windows that the BCPA had. That's all.
