For the excellent Ivan Hsu's model of the Russian fighter that fought in the Spanish Civil War.
This particular plane was one of the dozens of Republican planes that were captured by Nationalist troops during and at the end of the war. One squadron (28 Grupo de Caza) was briefly based on the island of Mallorca, and this particular aircraft was painted with this colourful livery to be used in an aerobatic exhibition.
The first source (see bottom) lists the plane as a Typ6, but shows the closed cockpit typical of Typ5. I've used an open cockpit Typ6 to take the screenshot, but I think that the skin fits the Typ5 model as well, though I haven't made any tests.
The bmp's are based on the original Ivan Hsu skins (with his approval). I just put some paint on top of them.
