FSX repaint of the Milviz F-86F represents QF-86F-40 (72-7711) of the Naval Weapons Center, NAS China Lake, California. According to photographs from an April 16, 1988 China Lake Air Show, this aircraft was identified as the personal mount of Captain John A. Burt, Base Commander. At one time during the mid-to-late 1960s, according to some sources, 72-7711 served with the famous JASDF Blue Impulse Flight Demonstration Team. 72-7711 was stricken from JASDF rolls in October 1979 when it was sold to the U.S. NAVY.
