The Republic P-47D-23 was the last of the Razorback Thunderbolts and one of the earliest models to come from the factory with a propeller capable of using the available engine power.
This project is an intermediate release with an update Flight Model and Damage Profile and Checklist.
The visual model is an older version from 2006 and is intended to provide a canvas for some rather nice artwork by PJ Dunbar from many years ago. A Virtual Cockpit has been added to the original model.
This project began a couple months ago when a set of textures and nothing else was found in one of the many odd corners of Ivan's Workshop. An older 3D model had to be found which could actually host the textures.
Hopefully with this release, these excellent texture can be preserved.
