This repaint is for the freeware RFND F-8E Crusader V1.1 and represents F-8H Bu.No.147048 of VF-111 Sundowners on board USS Shangri-La (CVS-38) 1970 WestPac cruise, Shangri-La's last active duty cruise and also VF-111's last cruise in the F-8." 147048 was painted up as the VF-111 CAG aircraft for the CO of CVW-8. A new CO arrived in July 1970. by Royale French Navy Design.
