This is a repaint of the Aeroplane Heaven F4U-1A Corsair found here: www.donationware.net This texture has been painted to represent F4U-1A white 17/BuNo 18005 of Lt Cdr Roger R Hedrick, VF-17, Bougainville, March 1944. Hedrick gained his last three victories with VF-17 in this F4U on February 1944. Earlier a trio of kills had been scored in BuNos 17659 and 55798.
