This is a repaint of the FDGv2 Donationware F4F-3 Wildcat found here:http://www.donationware.net/ Martlet I BJ562/A, flown by Sub-Lt Parke, RNVR, No 804 Sqn, FAA, Skeabrae, Orkney, 24 December 1940 On Christmas Eve 1940, Lt Carver and Sub-Lt Parke sighted a Ju 88 over Scapa Flow shortly after tak?ing off after a suitably festive, lunch. They gave chase and eventually put an engine out of action, thus forcing the bomber to crash land in a field. The aircraft wears standard FAA fighter camou?flage and national insignia, with a sky blue recog?nition band around the fuselage similar to those applied to all British fighters during the period. Thanks to the crew at FDGv2 for providing us this great plane!! Please take the time to read the original read me, that I have included.
