This is Part I of the Royal Australian Air Force campaign package. In the first package, you will find nearly all the aircraft, sounds, and repaints required for this campaign. Please note that I use several of these aircraft in my three 1941-1942-era Pacific campaigns. The aircraft included in this package include the aircraft and repaints of the Donationware team, Bismarck13, The Virtual Navy, Stuart Green, The B24 Guy, Thicko, Krystof Malinowski, Morton, Kelticheart, Dombral, Wolfi, Stockplane, Bruno Duffort, Yashico, Akemi, and the Virtual Wings team. Engine sounds by Lawdog2360, Blood_Hawk23, the Virtual Wings team, and Blondi have also been included.

This campaign package release is actually a combination of three parts, woven into two campaigns. For the Australian side, the missions entitled "Defense of Australia" are a converted CFS1 campaign by Mauro Giacomazzi, fully updated for CFS2 using the newest airbases, aircraft, and other items. The missions entitled "Royal Australian Air Force" are the original missions from "In Defense of Australia" campaign, fully updated for CFS2 in the same fashion. The third and final portion is a series of seven carrier-based missions written by the now-deceased-but-not-forgotten Talon that chronicle some of the sorties flown by the US Navy in this time period. This campaign update would not have been possible without the excellent work of the original designers of "In Defense of Australia."

The Australian side contains two dynamic campaigns that allow you to play twenty-one of the twenty-nine missions, or twenty-six of the thirty-six available for the Australian side. Playing the Australian side will allow you to fly as part of RAAF 75th Squadron, trying desperately to defend Port Moresby from the Japanese onslaught. These missions will cover bombing and strafing runs on airbases, escorting USAAF and RAAF bombers, and repeatedly defending the skies of Port Moresby from the Japanese. Your performance in these missions, coupled with elements of random chance, will provide a different experience each time you fly the campaign.

The Japanese campaign is fourteen missions, thoroughly updated as the Australian missions are. However, this campaign remains in the original condition. For the Japanese, you will often fly on fighter sweeps and defend your airbases from attack by RAAF fighters as well as USAAF bombers, while also escorting Japanese bombers on bombing missions over Port Moresby. As always, this has been also been updated by using newer airbases, aircraft, and objects to enhance and modernize what is already a great campaign package.
