A repaint of the Just Flight HS 748 aircraft as one of the Royal Australian Navy's birds.
Hawker Siddeley HS-748 Srs.2/268 c/n 201? was delivered to the Royal Australian Navy on 29 MAY 73.
This was one of two aircraft bought to replace DC-3 in the transport role ansd based at Nowra. In 1978 both aircraft were refitted as Electronic Countermeasures trainers, serving in this role until retirement in June 2000. After a brief and fruitless commercial career, this aircraft returned to Australia and restored to this livery as a cosmetic museum display at Bankstown, NSW.
My paint shows the aircraft about 1978, serving with 851 SQN.
Tested in FSX, P3d3 and P3d4
Callout to adf-serials.com.au for the data and always excellent photos.
