Hurricane 1a trop by Thicko, Paint by Sopwith Chameleon Represents Hurricane 1a (trop) of No 208 Squadron DAF, engaged on Army Co-operation Duties with Lysanders from the same unit based at Burg -el Arab, Egypt, 1941-2. The "Sand & Spaghetti" overspray on the nose & wing was supposed to confuse Italian Gunners as to the identity of the aircraft when in a "nose on" position ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Thanks to Thicko for a great plane
