Curtiss C46 Commando
Curtiss C46 Commando, original aircraft by Mike Stone, Conversion for CFS2 & Paint by Sopwith Chameleon, Shine by Jaxon, with permission from Mike Stone. Represents an unidentified Curtiss C46 attached to Col. Philip Corcharan's Air Commando in Burma 1943/4 operating in support of Orde Wingate's "Chindit" operations. The temporary white paint on the rear fuselage was a recognition feature used in the CBI, later replaced by white stripes on wings and tail.
