Short Stirling 199 SQN
Textures for Ted Cook's Excellent Short Stirling by SopwithChameleon You need Buddha 13's Conversion Files available from the Sim Outhouse to make it fly in CFS2. Represents Stirling BMK1 Series 2 "EX-R" of 199SQN, RAF North Creake, in early 1944, one of the last Stirling Squadrons on Night Bomber Ops. (Not strictly Accurate as "Jolly Roger" was a MKIII with the FN (Lancaster) type Dorsal Turret, but I thought it would be good to have late war version) The Stirling was the first of Bomber Command's 4 Engine "Heavies", but the official requirement for it to fit into existing RAF Hangers, meant that the modified Sunderland Flying Boat Wing Shorts used, had too short a span for effective Altitude performance. It also explains the odd undercarriage, which was extended to give a high angle of attack for take off.
