Spanish Civil War - De Havilland Dragon Rapide DH-89a
Texture only for De Havilland Dragon Rapide DH-89a, found on Wings Palette site + model kit picture found on the net.
Serial: LR-003 (ex-French F-AQIN)
Escuela de Polimotores (Multiengine School), Totana (Murcia), April 1938.
The Spanish Republicans managed to buy ten civilian Dragon Rapides from France during 1938.
This one, with its French civilian registration (F-AQIN) still visible under the freshly painted red bands, is seen here as it appeared after delivery in April of 1938. (Camouflage: French civilian Aluminium finish).
Texture for original plane by Dave Garwood, Dave Booker, Saverio Maurri and Brian Withers. Sounds by Mike Hambly.
I also used a No Passenger Icon , but I don't remember where I found it (Alzeimer, again....)
Happy landings,
F. de Bressy
