This is a CFS3 mod package that was originally posted on the Netwings site. They were intended for stock CFS3 and/or CFS3 with Firepower ONLY.
Nothing has been modified in any way and it is still in it's original *.zip file. Here is the README for full acknowledgement:

In an attempt to improve the gunners defense for CFS3 bombers, I done some studies on the simulation and, at last, I managed to work out these configurations.
These new defense weapons do not work in an "historical way", since have doubled (!) Range and MuzzleVelocity; but this seems the only way to force CFS3 gunners to fire from distance. However, long range shooting is not all accurate... just disturbing enemy, so it's not a kind of fantascientific gun-aiming!
I know this may seem excessive, but after a lot of play testing I decided these settings because they can assure the "will to survive" of bomber crews... remember, no one fights to be only a target and die! Moreover, in CFS3 only little bomber formations are available to perform entire missions, so defense should be stronger than historical levels.
