Description: Static Ship Library for FSX - V1

This is a library of static ships which complements my “63 AI Ships and AI traffic for FSX” and includes static versions of many of the ship from that package. The library contains 43 ships of which 14 have hard deck for helicopter landings.

As a small demonstration of the possibilities this package also contains two placement bgl-files, which sets 15 different ships anchored in the bay in Rio de Janeiro and 7 ships southwest of Rotterdam. The first placement file was developed to fit with the “MEGA ROUTE RIO SAO PAULO AND NATAL CITY PACK 5” by Paulo Ricardo and available at Simmarket and the second to fit with the freeware NL2000, but the placement files can be used perfectly without having any of these two sceneries installed.

Installation

Unzip the file “Static_Ship_Library_FSX_2013.zip”to a temporary folder.

Move the folder “Static_Ship_Library_for_FSX_2013” and all its contents to Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery

Go to Microsoft Flights Simulator X and enable the scenery via Settings - Scenery Library - Add Area.

Once you have installed the library you can place the ships wherever you want using one of the different Object Placement Tools available on the web or in the FSX SDK, or you can wait for others to include them in their sceneries…

If you don’t want the ships to appear in Rio or Rotterdam, but still want the library, you should just remove the files “15_ships_in_Rio_De_Janeiro.bgl” and “7_ships_in_Rotterdam.bgl”

To uninstall simply deactivate via Settings and Scenery library and remove the folder.

Observe: This package is developed for FSX only – it will not work in FS2004
