Supermarine Sea Otter ASR II - With update

Developed from the Walrus - entered service in 1944 ( the last bi-plane to entr service ) remained with FAA until early '50s when replaced by helicopters.

On 19th July 1950 a Sea Otter ( piloted by Lt. P. Cane ) from HMS Triumph rescued a downed US F4U pilot in rough seas during the early part of the Korean War.

This model carries a genuine Sea Otter serial but I've no idea if it is the correct one. I also don't know if it should wear the 'stripes ' but it seems appropriate.

Two a/c seved with the Australian FAA on HMAS Sydney and HMAS Vengeance ( nos JN200 and 201 )

Sea Otters also served with the French, Dutch and Danish Forces, one of the Australian a/c was under civil registry after disposal by FAAA.

My thanks as usual to Mike Stone whose Walrus files are at the root of this a/c and also to Dave Eckert ( daviator ) whose tutorial on recessed wheel wells was invaluable.

All errors are mine and this is FREEWARE
