A58-538 was originally allocated the RAF serial LV672 and was later delivered to the RAAF during July 1944.
The aircraft served with No. 8 Operational Training Unit at Parkes, NSW where it suffered a ground collision with a Wirraway in May 1945. It was subsequently converted to components and written off.
