This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire IX MK475 PH-NFO of Schreiner Aviation Company, the Netherlands. This aircraft was delivered to the RAF in 1944, and flew with 56, 402 and 64 squadron during WW2. After the war, it flew with the Dutch Air Force as H-28 and later as 3W-14 before going to Schreiner in 1954. It was operated by Schreiner Airways as a target tug between 1954 and 1957, when it crashed on take off from Texel and was destroyed. The pilot, B. de Geus, was not hurt.
