This folder contains a repaint for the Spitfire Mk.IX by FlyingIron, in the colors of Spitfire IX EN447 WD-L 'Kay III' as flown by Lt Victor Cabas from New Castle, Pennsylvania. He flew with the 4th FS, 52nd FG, USAAF, in the spring of 1943 from Italy. He shot down one Me-109 while flying with the RCAF 403 squadron in 1942 before joining the 52nd FG in the MTO. Here, he shot down three more Me-109's. He stayed in the USAF after the war and retired a brigadier general.
